(1) Bank Notes Issue Ordinance

Resolution,

The Floancial Secretary to move the following resolution;~

Resolved, pursuant to the proviso to section 5 of the Back Notes Issue Ordinance, Chapter 65, that this Council hereby extends the powers of all the note- issuing banka to make, ja sue or re-issue and circulate notes until and including the 12th day of July, 1960.

(2) Interpretation (Amendment) Bill,

The Attorney General to move the First reading of :-

A Bill intituled: "Ao Ordinadoo further to amend the

Interpretation Ordinance, Chapter 1.

(3) District Court (Amendment) Bill, 1959.

The Attorney General to move the First reading of :-

A Bill intituled; "An Ordinance to amend tha District

Court Ordinance, 1953."

(4) Lead Transactions (Enemy Occupation) (Jurisdiction) Bill,

1959.

The Attorney General to move the First reading of ;-

A Bill intituled; "An Ordinance to make provision touching the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court and the District Court respectively in relation to proceedings under section 7 of the Land Transactions (Enemy Occupation) Ordinance, Chapter 256,"

(5) Companies (Prevention of Evasion of the Societies Ordinance)

BALL, 1959.

The Attorney General to move the First reading of :-

A Bill intituled; 40 Ordinance to prevent circumvention and evasion of the Societies Ordinance, Chapter 151, and to provide for measures to be taken with respect to companies registered under the Companies Ordinance, Chapter 32, and companies to which Part II of the Companies Ordinance applies which would, if they were acoieties registered under the Societica Ordinance, be liable to have their registration under that Ordinance cancelled by the Registrar of Societies on any of the grounds specified in subsection (5) of section 5 of that Ordinance, and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid."
