Provided that in the case of an entering or intersecting road an approved sign shall be di played at a distance not less than ten yards from the junction of such road with the road in which the obstruction or excavation exists.".

6. Regulation 13 of the principal regulations is amended by the addition after the word "fence" of the following—

"or"*.

7. The principal regulations are amended by the addition after ecgulation (4, regulations 13 of the following new regulation-

to the Crown

"Application 14. These regulations shall apply to vehicles and persons in the public service of the Crown in the same manner as Parts III, IV, V and VI of the Road Traffic (39 of 1957). Ordinance are applied by subsection (1) of section 31 of

that Ordinance.".

Resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council under section 1 of the Administration of Justice (Summary Offences) Ordinance, 1955, on the 21st day of October, 1959.

Resolved, pursuant to section 11 of the Administration of Justice (Summary Offences) Ordinance, 1955, that the duration of the said Ordinance be extended for the term of one year with effect from the 28th October, 1959.

The opportunity bal been taken to amend the title to the principal_regulations to make it less cumbersome, to replace regulation 6 by a less difficult regulation and to make other minor corrections,
