An Ordinance to amend the law relating to the registration of businesses

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Business Registration Short title. Ordinance, 1959.

2. (1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-—- Interpreta- "business" means any form of trade, commerce, craftsmanship, profes- sion, calling or other activity carried on for the purpose of gain: "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Inland Revenuc appointed
under the Inland Revenue Ordinance;
"prescribed fee" means the fee prescribed in item 1 of the Schedule:
