An Ordinance to amend the Estate Duty Ordinance, Chapter 111.
[1st February, 1959.]
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-——
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Estate Duty (Amendment) Sbort tile Ordinance. 1959, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of and com. February, 1959.
2. Section 3 of the Estate Duty Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is repealed and replaced by the following-

3. (1) In this Ordinance, unless the context other- wise requires, the following expressions have the meaning hereby assigned to them respectively-
"account" means an account of the particulars and value of the estate of a deceased person in such form as may be prescribed by the Governor in Council, and verified by affidavit;
