|| An Ordinance to amend the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force
Ordinance, 1959.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Auxiliary Short title. Police Force (Amendment) Ordinance, 1959,
2. Section 6 of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force Ordinance. Amendment 1959, is amended by the deletion of subsection (1) and the substitution of section 6. therefor of the following-
"(1) The Governor, on the recommendation of the Commis- sioner, may grant bonorary membership of the Force, with honorary rank equivalent to the substantive rank held at the date of retire. ment, to-
(a) any member who holds the rank of auxiliary super- intendent of police or above, on retirement from the Force; and
(2 at 1959).
