An Ordinance to amend the District Court Ordinance, 1953,
[10th July, 1959.)
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the District Court (Amend- Short title. ment) Ordinance, 1959.
1. Section 14 of the District Court Ordinance, 1953, is amended - Amendment
(4) by being renumbered subsection (1) of section 14;
(b) by the addition thereto of the following new subsections-
"(2) The District Court, as regards any cause for the time being within its jurisdiction as provided by sub-
section (1), shall in any proceedings before it-
(a) grant such relief, redress or remedy or com- bination of remedies, either absolute or condi- tional; and
of section 14.
