An Ordinance to amend the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1956.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and

consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1 This Ordinance may be cited as the Dangerous Goods (Amend. Short title, ment) Ordinance, 1959,

2. Section 2 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, 1956, (hereinafter Amendment referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the insertion after of section 2. the definition of "petroleum" of the following definition-

""prohibited goods" means any dangerous goods declared by any regulation made under section 4 to be prohibited goods for the purposes of this Ordinance:",

(38 of 1956),

3. Subsection (1) of section 4 of the principal Ordinance is Amendment mended by-

(a) the insertion after paragraph (b) of the following paragraph-

"(bb) the declaration of any dangerous goods to be pro- hibited goods for the purposes of this Ordinance;";

of section 4.
