29. The enactments set out in the Second Schedule to this Ordinance are amended in the manner specified in the third column of That Schedule.
30. Nothing contained in this Ordinance shall be construed to limit the right of the Crown to dismiss or terminate the appointment of members and without compensation.
31. The Police Reserve Ordinance is repealed and the Emergency (Special Constabulary) Regulations, 1950, are rescinded.

Extent of amendment.
Section 17A is amended by-
(a) the deletion from subsection (1) of the words "Police Reserve Force under the provisions of the Police Reserve Ordinance, or as a special constable under the provisions of the Emergency (Special Constabulary) Regulations. 1950" and the substitution therefor of the words "Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force":
(b) the deletion from subsection (1) of the words "or Regulations as the case may be";
(c) the deletion from subsection (2) of the words "Police Reserve Force, the Special Constabulary" and the sub- stitution therefor of the words "Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force"; and (d) the deletion from subsection (2) of the
comma and word “. Constabulary”,
Section 22 is amended by the deletion from subsection (2) of the words "police reserve constituted under the Police Reserve Ordinance" and the substitution therefor of the words “Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force".
