Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows--
PART I.
Preliminary.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Hong Kong Auxiliary Short title Police Force Ordinance, 1959, and shall come into operation on a day and com- to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gazette.
2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- "active service" means service pursuant to an order of the Commis-
sioner made under subsection (1) of section 16;
