(b) by the addition after subsection (1) of the following new

subsection----

(Cap. 29).

"(2) It is also hereby declared that-

(4) the corporation may invest, in accordance with the provisions of the Truster Ordinance, such trust funds in the hands of the corporation whether at the time in a state of investment or not; and (b) notwithstanding such provisions, the corporation shall also have power and shall be deemed always to have had power, in cases where the occupant of the corporation for the time being considers, it impracticable for any reason whatsoj ever for such trust funds to be so invested]) to deposit such trust funds in the Houg Kong Savings Bank or such other savi ings bank as the Governor may approve generally or in any particular case.";

(c) by the deletion of the marginal note, and the substitution

therefor of the following-

"Power to accept other trusts, to invest and deposit trust funds.".

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

PART I

General.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Resettlement Ordin- Short title Ance, 1958, and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed and com- by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gaselte.
