5. Every such licence shall be in the form set out in the Schedule and shall be subject to the conditions therein set out and to such other conditions as the Collector may impose,

6. The Collector may cancel any such licence at any time on proof to his satisfaction that—

(a) there has been a contravention of any of the provisions of these regulations or a breach of any condition of the licence by the holder thereof; or

(b) the licensed machine is making an imperfect stamp.

7.

The holder of a licence issued under these regulations shall not use the licensed machine for the purpose of stamping any instrument chargeable with stamp duty other than instruments of the class specified in the licence.

8. No instruments, other than those connected with the business of the licensee, shall be stamped by means of a licensed machine.

0. The holder of a licence issued under these regulations. shall each day, except a day specified by or appointed under the (Cap. 149). Holidays Ordinance as a general holiday, send to the Collector, in such form as he may prescribe, notice of the value of the stamps impressed on that day by means of the licensed machine.

10. The holder of a licence issued under these regulations shall make payment to the Collector in respect of each setting or re-setting of the meter of a licensed machine at the time of such setting or re-setting.

11. (t) The Collector shall prescribe for each of the classes of instrument which, under the provisions of the Stamping and Denoting of Documents Regulations, may be stamped by means of a licensed machine the die to be used in such machine for stamping such class of instrument.

(a) The Collector shall prescribe for each of such classes of instrument the colour of the stamp.

12. Every licensed machine shall, at the time that it stamps any instrument, also stamp thereon the date of stamping.

13. (1) The meter of every licensed machine shall be set or re-set, as the case may be, by the Collector or an authorized officer.

(2) After the meter has been so set or re-set, the licensed machine shall be sealed by the Collector or an authorized officer with the seal of the Stamp Office.

16. (1) Any person who contravenes the provisions of Offences regulation 7 shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a penalties. fine of two thousand dollars and to imprisonment for three months,

(2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of regulation 14 shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine of five thousand dollars and to imprisonment for six months.
