Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

The purpose of these regulations is to revoke and replace the existing Penicillin (and other Substances) Regulations (Vol. X, p. 58) by fresh regulations which apply the Ordinance to the substances mentioned in the Schedule to the regulations, their salta and derivatives and also to ayuthetic equivalents of such substances and their salts and derivatives. and to add four more substances.

Opportunity has been taken to re-draft regulation 2 to allow for more concine definitions of substances to which the Ordinance is applied.

Stamp Duties MANAGEMENT (FRANKING MACHINES) REGULATIONS, 1957-

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7B of the Stamp Duties Management Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-
