MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS (REGISTRATION AND Disciplinary Procedure) Regulations, 1957.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Medical Registration Ordinance, 1957, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations--
PART 1.
Citation and Interpretation.
1. These regulations may be cited as the Medical Practi- Citation
tioners (Registration and Disciplinary Procedure) Regulations,
and shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1957.

"complainant" means any person from whom a complaint against
or information in respect of a registered medical practitioner
has been received by the Registrar in accordance with regulation 11;
"Committee" means the Preliminary Investigation Committee

"defendant" means any registered medical practitioner in respect of whom a complaint or information has been received by the Registrar in accordance with regulation i
"notice of inquiry" means a notice served in accordance with
regulation 14;
