BATHING PLACES (Amendment) REGULATIONS, 1957-
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Pleasure Grounds and Bathing Places Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations
1. These regulations may be cited as the Bathing Places Citation. (Amendment) Regulations, 1957.
2. Regulation 5 of the Bathing Places Regulations is Rescission rescinded and replaced by the following-

"6. 0) In respect of any bathing place situated in tion b. Hong Kong, Kowloon or New Kowloon, the Urban Council (1986 and in respect of any bathing place situated in the New Volume of Territories, excluding New Kowloon, the District Com- Ordio- missioner, New Territories, may set apart an area of sea and foreshore for the use of bathers only,
(2) Any such area set apart under paragraph (1) shall be delineated at the site by a line of buoys.
(3) Where any such area has been delineated in the manner provided in paragraph (2), no person shall bring into or use within such area any surfboard or boat without the written permission of the Chairman of the Urban Council or the District Commissioner, New Territories, as the case may be, and subject to such restrictions or conditions as may be annexed thereto.".
