An Ordinance to amend The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking
Corporation Ordinance, Chapter 70.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Hongkong and Short title. Shanghai Banking Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance, 1957.
2. Section 5 of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Amend Corporation Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the principalment of Ordinance) is amended by the deletion from subsection (1) of the (Cap. 70). words "under the management of the directors.",
section 5.
3. Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and re- Repeal and
replace. placed by the following-
ment of
"Capital And

thereof.
7. (1) The capital of the bank is fifty million section 7. dollars divided into four hundred thousand shares of one hundred and twenty-five dollars each, all of which are paid up.
