Explanatory Note.
(Phia Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their peneral pur pront).
Those regulations amend the scale of charges for fumigation of shipa to bring them into line with present costs of Sulphur Dioxide and of Hydrogen Cyanide, and to apply the scale to the fumigation of buildings as well as of ships. The opportunity has been taken to replace the word "deratisation" by the word "deratting" to correspond with the similar amendment made in the Quarantine and Prevention of Disense Ordinance. Cap. 141, by the Quarantine and Prevention of Disease (Amendment) Ordinance, 1966.
