PROCLAMATION
No. 6 of 1956.
Officer Administering the Government.
BY HIS EXCELLENCY MR. EDGEWORTH BERESFORD DAVID, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hong Kong and its dependencies and Vice- Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by section of the Enemy Property Ordinance, 1956 (No. 35 of 1956), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by proclamation in the Gazette:
Now THEREFORE I, EDGEWORTH BERESFORD DAVID, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 27th day of July, 1956.
