(b) the surface of the floor shall be rendered smooth and impervious with a layer of asphalt or cement-mortar of not less than half an inch, or of such other material of such nature and thickness as the Director may approve; (c) the floor of any place where cattle are kept shall be raised at least eight inches above the ground level and shall have a slope of not less than one in sixty; and
(d) the floor of any place where cattle are kept shall directly communicate by an independent train constructed as the Director may direct with a covered cement catch-pit.
11. The contents of any catch-pit provided in accordance with regulation to shall be removed daily.
12. No water closet, dry closet, earth closet or urinal shall be within, or be in direct communication with, any dairy.
13. No building or part of a building shall be used as a dairy until such premises have been approved by the Director as being dairy unless in accordance with these regulations. approved

14. The whole of the interior walls (unless exempted by the Director) and the ceilings of the rooms of any dairy shall be properly lime-washed during the months of January and July of each year.
15. (1) Any dairy shall be thoroughly cleansed from time to time as often as may be necessary to ensure that such dairy is at all times clean to the satisfaction of a health officer or food officer.
(2) Any dairy shall be scraped and whitewashed whenever required by the Director.
(3) The floor of any dairy shall be thoroughly cleansed and all offensive matter shall be removed therefrom not less than once daily.
(4) A supply of clean fresh water sufficient for complying with the requirements of this regulation shall be kept in or in connexion with any dairy.
18. No milk shall be deposited or kept in any room used as Kitchens a kitchen or as a living room in any dairy.

17. (1) Any vessel or utensil used in any dairy for containing Cleaning of
