RAILWAYS (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1956.
In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section 29 of the Railways Ordinance, the administrator has made the following rules-

appear in the receipt therefor," the same may be sold by the administrator and such proceeds of sale shall be deemed to be the property of the administrator free from the rights of any person provided that in any case the administrator may pay such proceeds or any part thereof to any person whom he considers to have any moral claim in respect thereof.".
3. Rule 58 of the principal rules is amended by the deletion Amend-

of paragraphs (b) and (c) and the substitution therefor of the ment of following-
"(b) that, subject to condition (d) a parcel not claimed within six months or within such lesser period as may appear in the parcel's receipt, which lesser period shall be not less than thirty days, may be sold or, if considered by the administrator to be unsaleable, may be destroyed by him;
(c) no compensation shall be paid in respect of a parcel sold or destroyed in accordance with the provisions of condition (b) and the proceeds of sale of any parcel so sold shall be deemed to be the property of the administrator free from the rights of any person provided that in any case the administrator may pay
