Except for paragraph (ii) of the proviso, the Notification repeats G.N. No. A.3/58 save the last paragraph thereof. Opportunity has been taken to re-draft it in order to accord with General Orders of the Government.

Resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council under section 3 of the Urban Council (Commissioner for Resettlement) Ordinance, 1954, on the 25th day of April, 1956.
Resolved, pursuant to section 3 of the Urban Council (Commissioner for Resettlement) Ordinance, 1954, that the duration of the said Ordinance bu extended for the term of one year with effect from the 30th April, 1956.
