An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the law relating to
dangerous goods.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Dangerous Goods Short title. Ordinance, 1956.
In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires "carrier" includes all persons carrying goods or passengers for
bire by land or water:
"dangerous goods" means any of the goods or substances to which
this Ordinance applies under section 3:
"explosive" includes any substance used or manufactured with a view to producing a practical effect by explosion or a pyro- technic effect;
