Amendment

2.
(b) by the deletion from-
()the definitions of "authorized landing place", 'disease" and "segregation place" in subsection (1) of section 2 of the word "Council";
(i) the marginal note to section 7 of the word "Council";
(iii) section 7 and from the heading immediately above. that section of the words "Urban Council" wherever: occurring;
(iv) section 8 and from the marginal note thereto of the word "Council";
(v) section Ir of the word "Council";
(vi) section 12 of the words "Urban Council” wherevee occurring and of the word "Council" in the second place where it occurs; and
(vii) section 15 of the word "Council" in the first and third places where it occurs,
and the substitution therefor in each case of the following-
**Director''.
3. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by the deletion of the definition of "Council" in sub- section (1) and the substitution therefor of the following definitions
"dairy" Includes any farm, cowshed, milk store or other place from which milk is supplied on of for sale or in which milk is kept or used for purposes of sale or manufacture into butter, |: cheese, dried milk or condensed milk for sale and, in the case of a purveyor of milk who does not occupy any premises for the sale of milk, includes the place where he keeps the vessels used by him for the sale of milk, but does not include a shop from which milk is supplied only in the properly closed and unopened receptacles in which it was delivered to the shop, or a shop or other place in which milk is sold for con sumption on the premises only;

(b) by the insertion after the definition of "litter" of the
following definition-
**milk" includes cream and skimmed and separated
milk;

(c) by the deletion of the definition of "Senior Veterinary Officer" in subsection (1) and the substitution therefor of the following definition-

"Senior Veterinary Officer" includes any veterinary officer and assistant veterinary officer authorized by the Director to perform the duties of a Senior Veterinary Officer under this Ordinance:
Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by the deletion of the first twenty-five words and the
substitution therefor of the following-
"The Governor in Council";
(b) by the insertion in paragraph (f) after the word "cattle-
sheds" of the following-
dairies**; and
(c) by the deletion from paragraph (s) of the word "one"*
and the substitution therefor of the following--
"two".
5. Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is repealed.
8.
Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a)
by the deletion from subsection (3) of the words "one hundred and twenty" and the substitution therefor of the following-
"three hundred"; and
(b) by the deletion from subsection (3) of the word "two"
and the substitution therefor of the following-
"'five".
