17. () The unofficial justices of the peace appointed or elected under subsection (3) or subsection (4) of section 48 of the principal Ordinance before the coming into operation of this Ordinance and holding office immediately before the coming into operation of this Ordinance shall be members of the board of licensing justices established under section 48 of the principal Ordinance as amended by this Ordinance, and shall be deemed to have been appointed or elected under subsection (3) or subsection (4) as the case may be of section 48 of the principal Ordinance as amended by this Ordinance.

(2) Any such member shall hold office until the expiration of three years from the date on which such member was last so appointed or elected.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice Short title, and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Peak Tramway Addition (Amendment) Ordinance, 1956.
