Amend- ment of section 17.
(c) the addition of the following new subsection-
"(a) To the extent that they shall be delegated by the Director of Public Works and subject to his instructions the powers conferred and duties imposed under this Ordinance on the water authority shall be exercised and performed on his behalf by the person carrying out the functions of Waterworks Engineer.'

3. Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the insertion after the word "by" in the first place where it occurs of the following-
"or for".
4. Section 17 of the principal Ordinance is amended by- (a) the deletion of the words "summary jurisdiction of the Supreme Court" and the substitution therefor of the following-
"'District Court"';
(b) the deletion of the comma after the word "anbum" and
the substitution therefor of a full stop;
(c) the deletion of the words "and any judgment given or order made shall be enforced in the same manner in which any judgment or order may be enforced in any other action in the Supreme Court.",

An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the members
of The Hong Kong Society for the Blind.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Hong Kong Society Short title. for the Blind Incorporation Ordinance, 1956.
2. In this Ordinance-n
"constitution'' means the constitution of The Hong Kong Society for the Blind approved from time to time by its members for the time being;
"Council" means the Council of The Hong Kong Society for
the Blind.
