Amend- ment of section 2L
3. Subsection (4) of section 21 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion of the proviso at the end thereof and the substitution therefor of the following-
"Provided that the total period of the original licence together with all renewals thereof shall not exceed five years. ".

An Ordinance to provide for the issue of tax reserve certificates and their acceptance in payment of certain taxes, and for purposes connected therewith.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Tax Reserve Short title. Certificates Ordinance, 1955.
2. In this Ordinance--
Inter- pretation.
"Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Inland Revenue;
"'certificates" means tax reserve certificates issued by the Com-
missioner under the provisions of section 3.
