Addition of Schedule,
15. Section 27 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a) by the insertion in subsection (2) after the word
"students" of the following-
"and dental nurses";
(b) by the addition after subsection (2) of the following new
subsection--
"(3) Nothing in this Ordinance shall operate to prevent the performance by dental nurses employed in the public service of minor dental work of such a character as may be authorized in writing by the Government Dental Specialist.".
16. The principal Ordinance is amended by the addition thereto of the following Schedule-

An Ordinance to amend the Mental Hospitals Ordinance, Chapter
136.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Mental Hospitals Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1955.
2. The Mental Hospitals Ordinance (hereinafter referred to Amendment as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the addition after of the section 10 of the following new sections-
"Power of Governor
10A. The Governor may, by order published in the Gaselte from time to time, prescribe the maximum number of persons who may, at any given time, be number of detained under the provisions of section 10.
