(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, any election held before the 15th day of February, 1956, in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance shall be held as if
(4) subsections (2A), (3), (4), (4A), (5), (6) and (10) of section
3 of the Urban Council Ordinance were still in force;
(b) "elector" meant any person whose name appears on the first second or third part of the register referred to in such subsections.

An Ordinance to amend the Companies Ordinance, Chapter 32.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Companies (Amend- Short title ment) Ordinance, 1955, and shall come into operation on the and Com- 1st day of June, 1955-

2. Section g of the Companies Ordinance (hereinafter Amendment referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-
