Section 121 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the insertion in the ninth line of paragraph (1) of subsection (1) after the word "receipts", of the following-

"and payments".

4. Section 126 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion from the third line of subsection (2) of the word "or" and the substitution therefor of the following-

"For".

5. Section 131A of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) by the deletion of subsection (1) and the substitution

therefor of the following-

"(1) There shall be an Authorized Auditors Board (hereinafter referred to as "the Board") which shall, consist of the Registrar, the Accountant General, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue, a Legal Adviser] appointed by the Governor who shall be a barrister or solicitor practising in the Colony, and six other members appointed by the Governor of whom live shall be Authorized Auditors. The members of the Board appointed by the Governor shall hold office for two years and may be removed or re-appointed by the Governor atļ his pleasure. The Registrar shall be Chairman of the Board but in the absence of the Chairman from any meeting of the Board the members present shall appoin a Chairman from among themselves. The Chaindad, shall have a casting vote."';

(b) by the deletion from the first line of subsection (3) of the word "Five" and the substitution therefor of the following-

(e) by the addition after subsection (3) of the fallowing new

subsection-

"(4) The Board may appoint a secretary to the Board for such period and to perform such duties in connexion with the discharge of its functions as may be prescribed

by the Chairman of the Board. The secretary may be paid such emoluments from the general revenue of the Colony as the Governor may from time to time prescribe."

BL Section 214 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the deletion from the second line of subsection (1) of the word "seven" and the substitution therefor of the following-

Amendment of section

Section 250 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by the insertion in the fifth line of paragraph (b) of sub- 214.

section (1) after the word "months" of the following—

Section 276 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) by the addition after subsection (4) of the following new

subsection-

"(4A) Where the Registrar is of the opinion that the registered office of a company or the name and address of a liquidator or subscriber to the memorandum of asso- ciation of a company cannot be ascertained, or the Registrar is of the opinion that a letter or notice to be sent under subsection (1), (2), (3) or (4) is unlikely to be received by the person to whom it would be directed, it shall be sufficient compliance with the provisions of the said subsections if the Registrar shall publish in the Gagette a notice stating that at the expiration of three months from the date of the publication of such notice the name of the company mentioned therein will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the register and the company will be dissolved." ;
