(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, any election held before provisions, the 15th day of February, 1956, in accordance with the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be held as if
(4) subsections (2A), (3), (4), (4A), (5), (6) and (10) of section
3 of the Urban Council Ordinance were still in force;
(b) "elector" meant any person whose name appears on the first second or third part of the register referred to in such subsections.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Companies (Amend- Short title ment) Ordinance, 1955, and shall come into operation on the and Corn- 1st day of June, 1955-
