An Ordinance to amend the Immigrants Control Ordinance,
Chapter 243.
[and July, 1954-)
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the
advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Immigrants Control Short title. (Amendment) Ordinance, 1954.
2. The Immigrants Control Ordinance is amended by the Audition addition, after section 11, of the following new section-
"Power of Governor
of new rection 11A.
11A. (1) The Governor in Council may, by order. (Cap. 243). in Council where he deems it to be conducive to the public good to prohibit to do so, prohibit the entry into the Colony of any
person other than a person born in the Colony,

(2) Any person who enters the Colony in contra- vention of an order made under subsection (1) of this section shall be liable to a fine of five thousand dollars and to imprisonment for twelve months."'
