An Ordinance to make better provision for the conservation of wild birds and wild mammals; and for purposes connected therewith.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows--
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Wild Birds and Wild Short title, Mammals Protection Ordinance, 1954.
In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires Inter- "forest officer" has the meaning attributed to that expression by
section 2 of the Forestry Ordinance;

"game" means any mammal or bird specified in the First Schedule First
