Duration of Ordinance.
(Cap. 1).
3. This Ordinance shall continue in force for the period of one year from the commencement thereof; Provided that it shall be lawful for the Legislative Council from time to time by resolu- tion to extend the duration of this Ordinance for such term, not exceeding one year at any one time, as may be specified in such resolution: Provided further that upon the expiration of this Ordinance, section to of the Interpretation Ordinance (which relates to the effect of the repeal of an enactment) shall apply as if this Ordinance had been repealed.

An Ordinance to make provision to give effect in the laws of the Colony to a change in the designation of the Crown Agents for the Colonies.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Crown Agents Short title (Change of Designation) Ordinance, 1954, and shall be deemed
to have had effect from the 1st day of April, 1954-

Section 3 of the Interpretation Ordinance is amended by Amendment the deletion from subsection (1) of the definition of "Crown of section a Agents" and the substitution therefor of the following definition-
"Crown Agents" means the Crown Agents for Oversea Governments and Administrations;
