POLICE RESERVE ORDINANCE.

POLICE RESERVE (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1953.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Police Reserve Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Police Reserve Citation. (Amendment) Regulations, 1953-

2. Regulation of the Police Reserve Regulations (herein- Amendment after referred to as the principal regulations) is amended by the regulation deletion of sub-regulations (1), (2) and (3) thereof and the subs- titution therefor of the following-
"0) A member of the Reserve when called out for active service under paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section II of the Ordinance for any purpose connected with the peace and good order of the Colony shall receive the pay and allowances appropriate to his rank at the rates prescribed in the Reserve Pay Code.
(2) A member of the Reserve when called out for active service under paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section II of the Ordinance for the purpose of training shall receive pay and allowances not less than the minimum of the scale which applies to a police officer of equivalent rank in the police force constituted under the Police Force Ordinance.

(3) A member of the Reserve when in training shall receive pay and allowances at the same rates as he would be eligible to receive when called our for active service for the purpose of training."
