An Ordinance to amend the law in respect of the prerogative writs
of mandamus, prohibition and certiorari, to abolish informa- tions in the nature of quo warranto, and for purposes con- nected with the matters aforesaid.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows--
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Administration of Short title. Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, 1953.
2. (1) The prerogative writs of mandamus, prohibition and Orders of certiorari shall no longer be issued by the Supreme Court,

(2) In any case where the Supreme Court would, but for the certiorari provisions of subsection (1), have had jurisdiction to order the to be
substituted issue of a writ of mandamus requiring any act to be done, or a for writ of prohibition prohibiting any proceedings or matter, or a prerogative writ of certiorari removing any proceedings or matter into the mandamus,
