(14) Where the receiving order in the case of a bank- ruptcy or the death in the case of a person dying insolvent occurs after the commencement of the Bankruptcy (Amend- ment) Ordinance, 1953, the sum of three thousand dollars shall be deemed to be substituted in each case for the sums of three hundred dollars and one hundred dollars referred to respectively in paragraphs (b) and (c) of subsection (1).”

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows--
