The "Appropriation for 1953 - 64 Ordinance, 195

Resumption of debate on the Secord reading of 1-

A Bill intituled: "An Ordinance to apply a sum not

exceeding three hundred and twenty eøven million veved huuxtred and twelve thousand three hundred and thirty three dollere to the Public Service of the Financial Year ending 31st March, 1954".

The Financial Secretary to move the Third reading of the said

Resolution regarding Estimates.

The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-

Resolved that the Estimates of revenue and expenditure for

the financiel year 1953 - 54 together with the amendments proposed by the Select Comittee be approved and further that the expenditure of $8,000,612 on the items in the Schedule of Expenditure under the Rehabilitetion Loan Ordinance appended to the said Estimates and the charge of such sum as an advance from the surplus funds of the Colony pending reimbursement from loan funds be approved.

Resolution regarding Revenue Equalization fund.

The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-

Resolved that the establishment of a Revenue Equalization

Fland and the appropriation to that Mind from the general revenues of the Colony of the sum of $110,000,000 be approved.

Resolution regarding the Waterworks Rengwals and Improvement Fund

The Financial Secretary to move the following resolution :-

Resolved that the closing of the Waterworks Renewals and

Improvement Fund and the transfer of the amount atanding to the credit of that Fund on the 31st March, 1953, to the Revenue Equnlisation Fund be approved.

Resolution regarding the Development Fund

The Financial Secrotery to move the following resolution :-

Resolved that the appropriation to the Development Fund fron general revenues of the Colony of the sum of $10,000,000 be approved.
