of any premises as a slaughter-house, hereinafter called the licensed premises, shall be entitled to receive from the District Commissioner a licence in Form 4 in the First Schedule.
в. (r) Every person who may have obtained from the District Commissioner a licence for the use and occupation of any premises as a slaughter-house shall register such premises at the office of the District Commissioner.
(2) Every such person shall, for such purpose, apply, by notice in writing addressed to the District Commissioner to register such premises; and thereupon it shall be the duty of the District Commissioner within a reasonable time after the receipt of such notice, to cause to be entered in a book in Form 5 in the First Schedule the required particulars as therein specified.
9. The fees in the first column of the Second Schedule shall be the fees payable to the District Commissioner for the purposes mentioned in the second column thereof for the period mentioned in the third column.
10. (1) No licensee shall sub-let, transfer or lend his licence to any other person without the written consent of the District Commissioner; or absent himself from the Colony without informing the District Commissioner in writing of his intended departure and the duration of his absence.
(2) Whenever the licensee intends to leave the Colony he shall provide a deputy, to be approved by the District Commis sioner to act for him in all matters relating to the licensed premises.
11. Every licensee shall cause his licence to be continuously displayed in a conspicuous position in his licensed premises.

13. 14. (2) The District Commissioner shall determine the amount of compensation, if any, which shall be paid in respect of any loss incurred as a result of the destruction or disposal of any carcass, or organ, or any portion thereof.
