THE EMERGENCY REGULATIONS ORDINANCE.

(Chapter 241).

REGULATIONS BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL

(under section a).

In exercise of the power conferred upon him by section a

of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

REGULATIONS.

1. These regulations may be cited as the Emergency Citation. (Immediate Resumption) Regulations, 1952,

(2) Notwithstanding paragraph (1) these regulations shall apply only to any particular lot or section of a lot if the Chairman of the Urban Council by writing under his hand certifies that the immediate resumption of such lot or section is in his opinion necessary of 'expedient for the re-housing of persons rendered homeless by fire or of persons in urgent need of accommodation.

3. If the Governor in Council has under section 3 of the Provialous Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance ordered the resumption of of this

regulation any land for the public purpose of affording accommodation to to apply persons in need of the same then if these regulations apply section in lieu of provisions 4 and section 5 of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance shall of sections not apply and the following provisions shall apply in lieu of thereof
