Explanatory Note.

1. The offect of regulation 3 of these regulations is to cape Application to be made upon arrival in the case of British subjects arriving in the Colony and to provide more comprehensively for registration by persons who have not already registered and in particular for persons in the Colony who have attained or may attain the age of 17 since the 12th of January, 1951.

2. The regulations introduce a new regulation GA so as to keep a cluck on British subjects leaving the Colony by making

necessary for such persona to notify depurlore and for transport tiznis or companies te v supply lists of persons departing from the Colony.

3. The effect of regulation 2 is to make the Director of Manpower the authority for the administration of the principal regulations as amended by these regulations.

4. The effect of regulation 5 is to substitute new provisions regarding penalties.

COMPANIES ORDINANCE (Cap. 32).

The Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 131(3) of the Companies Ordinance that the name of Thomas Le C. Kuen & Co. be added to Part I of the List of Authorized Auditors.
