Br HIS EXCELLENCY Sir ALEXANDER WILLIAM GEORGE HERDER GRANTHAM, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by Section 59 of the Co-operative Societies Ordinance, 1947 (Ordinance No. 43 of 1947) it is provided that the said Ordinance shull come into operation on such date as the Governor shall notify by Proclamation;
Now, Therefore 1, by this Proclamation do notify that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the fifteenth day of February, 1951.
