An Ordinance to amend the Registrar General (Establishment}
Ordinance, 1949.
[21st September, 1951.]
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof;
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Registrar General Short title.
(Establishment) (Amendment) Ordinance, 1954.
2. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is hereby repealed Repeal and replaced as follows-
"Appoint- 3. (0) The Governor may appoint-
Ment of
Registrar
General,
deputies
and
*sistants.
.
(a) a Registrar General; and
(b) such number of-
(i) deputies under the style of Deputy
Registrar General; and
(ii) assistaurs under the style of Assistant Registrar,
And re- placement of section
3 of the
principal Ordinance.
