An Ordinance to further and protect the activities in Hong Kong of the Venerable Order of St. John of Jerusalem and to incorporate the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and the Secretary of the Council of the Order of St. John in Hong Kong for the time being as Custodian Trustees.

WHEREAS the St. John Ambulance Association is a founda- tion of an Order formerly designated the Grand Priory of the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem in England, which was duly incorporated by a Charter granted on the 14th day of May, 1888, by Her Late Majesty Queen Victoria, and now designated the Grand Priory in the British Realm of the Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem by rirtue of a Charter granted on the rath day of June, 1926, by His Majesty King George V.
