HOLIDAYS ORDINANCE, 1947.

NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 7.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Holidays Ordinance, 1947, the Governor in Council has appointed the second Monday in October to be observed annually hereafter as a general holiday in substitution for the day prescribed in paragraph 14 of section 3 of the said Ordinance which reads "the tenth day of October, or if that day should be a Sunday, then the following day."
