6. (1) No anchorage fees shall be paid in respect of (a) British and foreign ships of war;

(b) vessels of primitive construction, including

then, any such day shall be discounted so that the initial stay be correspondingly extended.

(4) Any claim for exemption must be established to the satisfaction of the Director of Marine,

junks;

(c) vessels normally operating solely within the waters of the Colony:

(d) vessels equipped to the satisfaction of the Director of Marine as cable ships and based on Hong Kong;

(e) vessels equipped to the satisfaction of the Director of Marine as salvage vessels and based on Hong Kong.

(2) Exemption from payment of anchorage fees will be granted in respect of any day during which a vessel chargeable with anchorage fees-

(a) lies in a naval anchorage;

(b) lies at a government mooring buoy;

(c) lies at a private mooring buoy;

(d) lies at a private wharf or shipyard;

(e) undergoes repairs;

undergoes survey.

(3) As regards the initial stay of 30 consecutive days referred to in regulation 2, if on any day during that period the vessel-

(a) lies in a naval anchorage;

(b) lies at a government mooring buoy :

(c) lies at a private mooring buoy;

(d) lies at a private wharf or shipyard;

(e) undergoes repairs;

The effect of the above is to revoke and re-enact the existing regulations in Table ✪ (B) in an amended form, to remove doubts regarding vessels in respect of which exemptions may be claimed.
