such officer would have enjoyed during such period had he been subject at the commencement of such period to a scale of pay operative in this Colony on the first day of January, 1947, in consequence of the Salaries Revision, 1947, if this shall be to an officer's advantage.
(4) **Salaries Revision, 1947) for the purpose of this regulation shall have the same meaning as that given 10 the expression in section 19 of the Ordinance,
(5) This regulation shall have effect from the first day of January, 1947."

ORDINANCE No. 21 of 1930. (NOTE-ISSUING BANKS EXTENSION OF POWERS).
Resolution.
Resolved pursuant to the proviso to section 3 of the Note- issuing Banks Extension of Powers Ordinance, 1939, as modified by the Law Amendment (Transitional Provisions) Ordinance, 1946, that this Legislative Council hereby extends the powers of all the note-issuing banks to make, issue, re-issue and circulate notes until and including the 12th day of July, rost.
