An Ordinance to amend the Supreme Court (Summary Jurisdic- tion) Ordinance, 1873, and to make provisions consequential upon such amendment.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :
This Ordinance may be cited as the Supreme Court Short title. (Summary Jurisdiction) Amendment Ordinance, 1950, and shall be read as one with the Supreme Court (Summary Jurisdiction) Ordinance Ordinance, 1873, hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance. of 1878.

2. The principal Ordinance is hereby amended by the Amendment deletion of the words "one thousand dollars" and the substitution 7, 8, 9, 10, of sections therefor of the words "five thousand dollars" wherever they appear of the
