(b) by the deletion of the words "for a first, second or subsequent offence there were substituted a fine not exceeding two thousand dollars" in the seventeenth. eighteenth and nineteenth lines and the substitution therefor of the following-

79. This Part shall only apply in the application of the Ordinance to table
waters.
80. The following expressions shall have the meaning specified-
'table waters' includes any aerated waters and any beverages sold or kept for sale in bottles, other than syrups or other liquids intended to be consumed only in a diluted form;
"gallon" TENS twelve reputed
pints or six reputed quarts.
PART VI.--PROPRIETARY MEDICINES AND TOILET PREPARATIONS.
81. This Part shall only apply in the application of the Ordinance to pro- prietary medicines and toilet prepara- tions.
82. The following expressions shall have the meanings specified-

"f.o.b." means the price free on board charged to the consignce in Hong Kong and is calculated less any discounts or rebates which the manufacturer may have permitted the purchaser;
"proprietary medicine" means any medicine or prophylactic recom- mended to the public by advertise. ment, label or otherwise in writing as efficacious for the prevention, cure or relief of any malady, ailment, informity or disorder affecting human beings and
(a) which is sold under a trade name or trade mark to the use of which any person bas or claims or purports to havé an exclusive right; or
(b) of which any person has or claims or purports to have the exclusive right of manufac- ture or for the making of which any person has or claims or purports to have any secret;
"toilet preparation"' means any substance commonly used for the toilet and includes-
toilet soap:
shaving soap and creum;
tooth paste or powder and
liquid preparations
for
dental purposes or mouth
washes:
perfumed spirits;
toilet paste or powder;
toilet cream;
hair dye;
