Section 4.
SECOND COLUMN.
Section 4 is amended-
(a) by the addition at the end of subsection (2)
of the following—
"Provided also that nothing in this subsection shall affect the power of the court to wind up a company the name of which has been struck off the register."';
(b) by the addition at the end of subsection (3)
of the following-

", but if none of such addresses is available or if for any other reason the registrar considers it unlikely that any notice sent in pursuance of this subsection will come to the knowledge of the addressee, it shall be sufficient compliance with this subsection that notice in the Gazette shall have been published in accordance with the preceding subsection."

(1) Short title.
(1) The short title is repealed and replaced by the
following-
"Steam Boilers Ordinance, 190g."
(2) Section 2 is amended-
(a) by the addition in the last line of para- graph (4) after the word "explode" of the following-
"or collapse";
(b) by the repeal of paragraph (b) and the
substitution therefor of the following-

"(b) "Boiler" means any closed vessel in which for any purpose steam is generated under pressure greater than atmospheric pressure and includes any economizer used to heat water being fed into such vessel, any superheater used for beating steam, and any fitting directly attached to such vessel and wholly or partly under pres- sure when steam is shut off;'';
(c) by the repeal of paragraph (d) and the
substitution therefor of the following- "() "Competent person" means
a
person in possession of a certi- ficate of competence as a boiler attendant issued under regula- tions made hereunder;";
(d) by the deletion in the last line of para- graph (e) of the words and commas "out- side, for use in," and the substitution therefor of the following-
"'for use in".
(3) Section 6 is amended by the repeal of sub- sections (2) and (3) and the substitution therefor of the following-
"(2) No person shall operate any boiler unless he is a competent person,
(3) No person shall permit any boiler
to be used or operated by any other than a competent person."
(4) Section 8 is amended by the deletion of the words "twelve months" in the last line thereof and the substitution therefor of the following-
"fourteen months".
(s) Section 11 is amended by the deletion of the word "forthwith" in the third line of sub- section (3) and the substitution therefor of the following-
"within forty-eight hours".
