SECOND COLUMN.
Section 32 is repealed and replaced by sections 32 and 32A as follows:--
"Penalty
at end of anactment
or part, effect thereof,
Offences to be punish- able upon aucomary convict-

32. Whenever any penalty appears at the end of an enactment or part thereof the same shall be deemed to prescribe that any contravention of such enactment or part shall constitute an offence punishable by a penalty not exceeding the penalty so appearing,
32A. A provision in an enactment which constitutes or results in the cons- titution of an offence shall, unless such offence is declared to be treason, felony or misdemeanor or the words "upon indictment" appear, be deemed to include a provision that such offence shall be punishable upon summary conviction."
Section 7 is amended by the deletion of the last five lines of subsection (2) and the substi- tution therefor of the following--
"use of the offender, and the magistrate may, on conviction of the offender, order the forfeiture of all such goods, wares, merchandise, samples, patterns, utensils or paraphernalia, in addition to or in substitution for any other punishment prescribed."
