An Ordinance to prevent the forgery of passports and the making of untrue statements for the purpose of procuring passports. [28th July, 1950.]

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof :

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Passports (Mis- Short title. cellaneous Offences) Ordinance, 1950,

3. The forgery of any passport, or the making by any person of a statement which is to his knowledge untrue for the purposes passport or of procuring a passport, whether for himself or any other person, shall be a misdemeanor punishable with a fine of five thousand dollars and imprisonment for two years.
